The Mori-Sawarila is a warrior dance originally performed to welcome warriors returning from war.

Today, it is practiced on the day of Eid al-Fitr. It was also performed during the relocation of Mori Touré, the ancestor of the locality. Indeed, Mori Touré's reign was marked by a great quest for peace. During his reign, he affirmed his desire not to go to war with neighboring peoples. It was on this occasion that the dance was initiated. Mori-Sawarila. This festival is expressed through music, storytelling, and even dance.

He thus inscribed his thinking in the dynamic of forgiveness. The Mori-Sawarila means “Mori has forgiven.” This dance is a reminder of the military prowess of this great man who was committed to peace and coexistence.
